I think the question is why can't you believe? If there are so many who know he exists and believe in this then why don't you? What is it that holds you back from believing?
Is there such a thing as proof anyway? Humans designed the word. Think about it hard enough and you will begin to lack the belief of anything.
Belief is a good thing woudln't you say?

Because that is what faith is - believing without seeing. There is so much evidence of His existence all around us. The physical evidence of my feeling for God is that I choose to practice my faith because it is a privilege, I choose to read the Bible, I choose to pray, I choose to have a personal relationship with Him, I believe and don't doubt that He still does miracles today just like he did 2000 years ago. I know that because I personally experienced a miraculous healing. I have been saved from death more than once. God doesn't have to prove His existence to me nor what He looks like. Moses asked the Lord if he could "look upon His face", and the Lord replied "Oh no, Moses, you would surely die, but I will hide you in the cleft of the rock, and when My Glory has passed, you can look on me from behind." (Exodus 33:17-23) Truly He holds your very life in His hands. He loves you more than you can fathom. In the midst of the storm, He carries you; and when you can begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel, look back and see what a mighty work He has done in your life. He is faithful, merciful, and steadfast in His love. No proof needed here.

God has proven Himself to me that He exists. I have seen His touch in my life and felt His Spirit move within me. I have spoken in a language that I have never heard when He came into my life and filled me with His Spirit. He spared me from death when someone collided into my car at 70 mph- head on, no brakes. When this human body is examined there is evidence of grand design. There is no way the systems and processes could work the way they do by chance. As the apostle Paul says, if the only hope I have is in this life then I am of all men most miserable. While God has blessed my life here on this earth there is a lot of crap we have to go through. I am so thankful that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God does exist and that He robed Himself in flesh and gave His life so that I might one day live with Him forever without any negative thing to bring me down. I may not be able to give you physical evidence but you can get that for yourself if you ask Him for it.

No one can prove His existence to you.
God has proven His existence to all that TRULY believe on Him. Not to those that put him in a box with do or die prayers such as:
God heal all cancer in the world so I'll know you exist.
or
God give the world peace and I'll believe you're real.
Romans 8:24 - For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
You can translate Hebrews 11:1 into: Faith is the physical manifestation of the things we hope for to prove the things we cannot see.
God has manifested himself to his believers in one way or another. If you want proof, you have to truly believe. And don't try to play with God... He knows sincerity when He sees it.
Best Wishes!

The problem with your logic is, number one, God isn't a "physical" being, He's spiritual. So obviously it's immpossible for someone to provide you with "physical" evidence for something that's spiritual in nature..The divinity of God is not some scientific equation that can be "summed up" and provided as "proof" of His existence. We percieve God through our faith, prayer, and the intervention in our own personal lives that He provides on a daily basis..
Can you stare at the sun without going blind? No, you can't. So what makes you think you'd be able to physically look at God and behold his presence? Stop looking for "physical" proof of God's existence. Try praying to Him with a humbled heart, ask for forgiveness, and ask him to personally intervene in your life through Christ, and really mean it. Do this in all honesty, without an ego, without an attitide, and God WILL answer you. Meet God's criteria. And that is where you will find the "proof" that you seek.

Actually there're number of reasons, sometimes it's pure faith,, and very few times, it's a solid reason that you're looking for,
The things and findings you see in Holey Books, or revelations which were stated hundreds thousands of years back are being proved today with latest technology, I got proof, no "physical evidence" required.
2ndly in this universe nothing is what you call "physical" after considering wave particle duality. what you see is not what's real, hard to engulf but it's a fact. we dont even know where we stand and who we are.
and question of Him or Her? look into your body, if there's a little kink in a single molecule of a coagulatory protein in your brain, you're paralyzed for life, now look around, the living world, the evolution, the vastness of universe and if you are stuck that creater of it all is dependant upon sex? STUPID...He or she is beyond these adaptations aimed at enhancing diversity among offsprings in living things.
I hope it's a satisfactory answer, if not, i'm open for discussion.

People always use his name in vain when there mad. People who say they don't believe in God sure talk about him a lot. Thy shall not temp thy Lord God, what do you want for proof for him to strike you down with thunderbolts. Why are all the unbelievers on the site unless they want to believe, or i know the devil made um do it right.
Can you proof there is no God no you cant he put the breath that's in you. That is something science cannot duplicate is the human body and cloning that's not it either. The proof comes out of your mouth every time you breath. I really don't think it would take a whole lot of pain before you would be crying out to God to stop it

Maybe we can't prove the existence of God by taking His/Her picture, or seeing, or touching or measuring His/Her presence in some scientific way. But there ARE ways of proving His/Her existence.
Faith helps, but it's through faith and trusting in God that we go to God in prayer. We wouldn't bother if we didn't think He/She would answer and be of help.
Answered prayer is the most common way that PROVES God's existence. Answered prayers are waaay more than just coincidence. And once you've had one answered prayer, you have more faith and trust even more, so you go to God more frequently and it just snowballs from there. That's when faith becomes understanding and you've got a working relationship with God.

It is clear that you have a fundamental understanding of epistemology. Proof or evidence is the domain of science which often measures physical reality. God is a non-physical entity which cannot be measured or proven by physical means and to attempt to do so is folly. Faith is the epistemology of religion and a belief in God.
Why individuals believe is beyond me. There appear to be some consistent features however. There is often a fear of death.

Winston Churchill said that you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time - I'd say your question plus your support statement proves the existence of God better than any priest ever could. Well done!
