You like a man that is 8 years older than you, but you tell yourself that he seems a little bit too old for you. I have mixed feelings. Not sure what to do... Some advise please...

Let's start here: if you're under 18... yes, he is too old. Enough said.

Assuming however that you are over 18... mixed feelings are natural when you are braving new waters... a lot of it really depends on how old you are and why you have set an age limit on who you date (don't get me wrong, that will probably save you from more problems than it causes, but the question bears asking).

Generally speaking, women mature (emotionally) sooner than men, so it is natural to be attracted to someone older than you (incidentally I'm 9 years older than my gf). However, if this particular age gap is a serious issue for you, first YOU have to determine why it is. (because of what your friends/family/associates might say??? because you personally think it's creepy???) Once you determine that, then you can decide whether to persue the matter further, or count it up to just being a crush.. and move on.

Good luck.

Do what you think is right. As long as both of you are legal, don't worry about the rest. It is very common for a younger woman to like an older man, usually it is because the older man can provide some security. There is nothing wrong with that,

I would say, go for it since you like him & he likes you too. Age is not a matter whether someone is 8 yrs or even older than you. Most important is both parties can get along well.... Gd Luck!

If he is trully the man of your dreams and has similiar feelings about you, give him a chance. But also keep in mind about you, are you ready to commit yourself to a relationship with someone a little senior than you? Would it change your lifestyle? Or would it enhance it. Maturity in relationships can be strange bed fellows when debating about who will assume the otherside of it!

Decide if the 8 years really bothers you or if it bothers you because you think it is morally wrong.

If you, personally, have no problem with it and really like the guy and think that the age will cause no problems if a relationship began...then go for it.
