I would think she's too small to keep her entertained. The only thing that I can suggest to you is to keep the a/c temperature at a good temperature for her. Babies that age will usually sleep most of the time, especially if they are in a car.

Also, make sure to keep her diaper clean. Burp her after she drinks her formula so she won't feel uncomfortable. You can also download or buy a lullaby cd, all three of my kids loved lullaby music when the were that small; tha kind of music soothes them.

"DO NOT" leave her in the car if you get off at a store or something.

She should be just fine. Just make sure to pull over and change her and feed her on her normal schedule. At that age, she'll probably sleep for a majority of the trip. Attaching a small mirror to the top of her car seat will also help. Babies love mirrors.

I would try to get her used to the car seat before you go. See if you can soothe her to sleep in the carseat in your house. Also I assume that you will not be the one driving. At least I hope. You should sit in the back seat with her - it will make it easier to keep her from fussing. If you are planning to drive yourself, please reconsider- she will be fussy and it could be dangerous if you are trying to soothe her while driving! Also I agree with a previous answerer that you should try to stick to her usual schedule as much as possible.
good luck

Get something to cover the windows so the sun does not burn her. You can even use a sunblock. Dress her/him in layers. Use top quality diapers, not the cheapy ones that tend to leak in an hour or so. You should be fine, baby should sleep pretty good driving.

we drove for 2 days (with a hotel stop for the night) with 6 month old twins - they slept almost the entire trip!!! amazing! since your baby is way younger I would say she should do just fine, probably sleep a lot, just make short stops to feed
