In order to get a resonable time, it depends on the size and the depth, it could be permenet! but usualy not. But it could take a week to a year to a month. It really just depends on what the cut is like. If it is really bad, go to the doctor. You need to treat it also. Make sure you dont get it infected! . It can also depend on the location of th cut, and what you were cut by. Hope this helps and make sure you treat it and let it heal to. If its on the bottom of your foot or on your hand or something like that, try to use the other one more. See yah!

depends on several things- how deep is the cut, does it need stitches or band-aid? If its just a slight paper cut, apply a topical (skin ointment) antibiotic and don't cover it with bandaid - 1 day. But if it requires bandaid - clean it out with hydrogen peroxide and put antibiotic cream, then band-aid - 2-3 days depending on the depth of the wound. If it gets wet, change the dressing.
