Any programs or websites that would be useful? I'd like to learn Spanish, Italian, or even Latin...

Would my local library have audio tapes and such that might help? (LOL I don't mind a little let work...)

Do a search on Google or Yahoo for "Free Language Instruction". There are some sites that make such instruction available. And yes, your library should have foreign language books, tapes, and CDs.

audio tapes are not very helpfull, chat with someone who speaks spanish and ask him if you can go live with them for a couple of months, and do nice vacations... you´ll be fluent when you come back
