Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Matt. 1:18
This means that the Holy Spirit was not only the Father, but was there from conception. This is how he was able to live w/out sin. W/out the Spirit there is no hope to live w/out sin.

According to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus began His ministry at about age thirty. "Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. He was (so it was thought) the son of Joseph, the son of Heli..." (Luke 3:23).

You can infer that He probably started His ministry after His baptism and then being led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit. And the various accounts of Jesus' baptism only mention that the Spirit descended upon Him as a dove, not that it "came to His spirit."
