Illegal Immigrants Please Answer?

I know you come to USA for better opportunities. This I agree to and I am all for immigration. What I don't like is ILLEGAL immigration. Why do you think you can bypass everyone else who is waiting in line to come here legally? Why do you take advantange of free medical care and drive our hospitals out of business? Why do you drive our roads without proper insurance? Why should your children born here be considered American? Why do you come to America and still show the mexican flag at protests? Why do you speak spanish instead of learning english? Why don't you protest in your own countries like you do in ours? Why do you register to vote even though you are not really allowed to? Entering illegally is breaking our law, why should we not put you in jail or deport you and charge you with a felony? These are good questions asked in good faith... i just want to know what you're thinking?

thanks for your detailed answer cute_mexicana... I'll study and maybe learn a thing or two from it. I agree we need a worker program. But first things first is we need to get a handle on illegals first.

thb’64, respectfully evaluate cute mexicana (an oxymoron I’d wager) with these thoughts. “you are so uninformed”, “What many of you don't understand”. Nice condescending start for a Criminal defense to attempt to skew the conversation, unfortunately for c.m. most of America Is informed and Does understand.
“People enter illegally because they are in need of making money”… “they are unable to obtain a visa to enter legally”… “There is a process and its a long process”… “Many people apply for visas and never receive them”.
In plain American that means they are greedy, the legal process is long, hard, and in a fair selection process they would be denied So…they commit a felony and invade. The first mark on their American criminal Rap-Sheet.
“the government prevents them from being able to get a valid license.. without a valid license you can't get insurance”. Every state in the union requires passing a written test, of which one third is being able to read and understand English Road Signs! One also needs to present a legal identification document, S.S.#, birth certificate, that sort of thing. This is acceptable to legal citizens but unfair to invading criminals??? Talk about your double standard! Saving privilege vs. Right for another time, an illegal that obtains a license has added three crimes to his Rap Sheet, driving with no license or insurance is only two crimes they have committed. And their criminal record grows! And the, “Well he did it too!” defense aside from being juvenile, attempts to put illegal invading criminals on some perceived equal footing with legal citizens…Wrong Again!
“Lets not forget with the tax money that they don't claim at the end of the year”, O.K. so they don’t file with the I.R.S., one more mark on their Rap Sheet! They also did not pay F.I.C.A. or S.S. withholding plus the 7.5% the employer must add to that withheld.

one needs only look the waiting rooms between San Diego and the Gulf coast to see who abuses that… “Immigrants do not abuse the medical care or hospitals”. C.M. seems something less than forth coming and upright to this point.

Now we get down to the bottom line, “Another thing, people need to stop focusing just on the Mexican Immigrants.. there are many asians that illegally cross the US border from Canada”. Notice how Mexicans crawling under the wire are immigrants but Asians are illegal? Truth is Other Than Mexican illegals account for a single digit of the illegals in America. Only the government of Mexico has institutionalized its citizens into an invasion of the U.S. Using comic book instruction pamphlets with few words as how to infiltrate the U.S. It’s a good bet this is not geared towards their doctors or engineers!

Wait! If Mexico did not have a state sponsored invasion of the U.S. We would need no solution!

Open a modern Ellis Island on the border, close the rest with barbed wire and armed guards and permit them the same experience that those that came before them and built the country that they now wish to occupy, they learned and ASSIMILATED through!

I am native American, It was our country long before it was anybody Else's. Just like the Mexicans we had our country ripped away from us. English was not the first language here, we were forced to learn it. I think if anybody should be complaining about immigrants it should be us. What if Americans had to learn how to speak native American. The illegal immigrant thing is stupid, You all are immigrants to me except for the Mexicans maybe were related more then people might think. It was our country first then the immigrants took over, and killed half our people then stuck us on little plots of land. Maybe history is repeating itself. How would you Americans like it if immigrants came here took over your homes, raped and killed your women. Then stuck you on little reservations and told you this is how its going to be. This country started out as a free country for immigrants, so if it was good enough then. It should be good enough know. We had to deal with so can you. Research has shown that Mexicans make up more of the population then any other ethnic group, so maybe we should be learning Spanish. That's the way it has always been before so why change it.
Native Americans had to learn English just because that is what everybody else used, So know you know how we feel. I guess what goes around comes around.

~*~ First of all its a shame that you are so uninformed of what is actually happening.. I am not an illegal immigrant but I have an opinion and its worth being heard. People enter illegally because they are in need of making money to support their families or because they are unable to obtain a visa to enter legally.. What many of you don't understand that just because you want to work in the US or move to the US to live that doesn't automatically mean you will receive some sort of visa.. There is a process and its a long process.. Many people apply for visas and never receive them.. Immigrants do not abuse the medical care or hospitals.. The state where I live does not give the Illegal Immigrants any type of help.. When they get sick they pay for their medical services.. and it isn't cheap.. Lets not forget with the tax money that they don't claim at the end of the year that money goes to help the US citizens.. They drive the roads many times with no license or insurance because the government prevents them from being able to get a valid license.. without a valid license you can't get insurance.. My question to you... How many of the Americans drive without insurance??? probably ones who can't afford it right?? or maybe people who don't think that they need it.. Immigrants are allowed to have children.. If you dont' think that they should be considered US citizens then maybe you should contact your congressman/woman so that he/she can help to create a bill to take that away from the immigrants too.. We wave our flags at protests because we are proud of who we are.. This is a free country and we have the right to protest and wave whatever flag we choose.. We speak spanish because for many of us it is our first language and the language that we feel comfortable speaking in.. This in no way means that we don't speak English and do not like to speak English.. You need to start watching Univision or TV Azteca so that you can see that everyday in Mexico there is some sort of protest.. People protest all the time over there but rarely do you ever see the govt listen to their concerns.. I have never heard of an illegal immigrant register to vote here.. You are correct on one thing.. Entering the United States with no type of visa or documentation is Illegal and it shouldn't be done... yet it is not so serious as to charge someone with a felony.. There are more serious offenses in this country that need to be dealt with and most of them are offenses made by citizens of the United States.. Point is, if you don't like people entering illegally, there needs to be some sort of guest worker program so that those who want to enter legally and work here can.. I believe that this would reduce the number of illegal immigrants entering the country.. Another thing, people need to stop focusing just on the Mexican Immigrants.. there are many asians that illegally cross the US border from Canada.. I don't hear anyone talking about that.. the western united states was mexico see a map prior to 1848 U.S. forces illegally annexed texas invading mexico illegally starting mexico U.S. war. the united states is stolen mexican lands I think that gives mexicans priority over immigration access over the rest of the world.

i agree with you all the way! here is another question.... why would you leave a country that your so proud of and come to a country that you disrespect?? i don't understand it. if you hate America so bad why did you come here?? i have no problem with Mexicans that treat America with respect, but a lot of them don't! and to all the people that keep saying Mexicans aren't the only illegal aliens, Mexicans are making the biggest impact! a lot of Americans are out of jobs because the illegals take them all.

Cute mexcana is right on all but there are other reasons also, In some third world countries there are civil wars being fought. Children ducking and dodging bullets,child slavery,extreme measures are used for extreme circumstances. If you had to choose life or death life=breaking a law,death staying and waiting the required time.Which would you choose? Honduras is one of the poorest countries. Their government won't listen and if they did what could they do? No resources,money,etc................

I agree, I would also like the answers to these questions. No one seems to have a good answer. I say deport as many as possible, fine the employers giving them jobs and finally shout down the border. Build a wall, hire more border patrol and high tech surveillance equipment.

i dont think any illegal immigrants will answer this well, they wouldn't be proud answering this questions and for the fact that your questions are pretty straight and really hard for them to answer, i think they'll leave this question alone.

btw, im a filipino and im in the philippines if it werent for my girlfriend i'm not really interested in going to the states.
