Why is it so hard for illegal immigrants to get a back-bone and survive like their ancestors did?

Their ancestors knew how to be somewhat self sufficient.

Oh, Pu-lease!! I've heard all the lame excuses. The fact is they'd rather come here and suck up our taxpaid services rather than cut a few rows in the dirt and plant some tomatoes, corn and peppers. They probably wouldn't know how to thread a d@mn needle much less sew a pair of pants I've been out in this world plenty, in the cold to take care of the farm animals, worked fields at the age of 12, helped tend the garden, prepare,can and freeze fruits and vegetables, sewed, believe me I KNOW what work is and I have a strong back and strong work ethics because of it. I could work circles around ANY of you whiney pi$$ants and any d@mned Mexican legal or illegal!! We didn't whine about it either.

The fact is they would rather take the easy coward's way, not to mention the criminal way and get something for nothing. They suck up everything on the backs of American tax payers and then insult us for not liking it.

my ancestors? what the h*ll can u possibly know about my ancestors? try & learn about ur own ppl who have also killed, raped, abused indians, asians & now Iraqi's. get a dam clue u close minded excuse for an American. believe me these ppl know how to do many more things than u could imagine. i haven't heard 1 illegal person on here crying, or bragging about what they do to make a living they just do it. if u had any sense u would try to talk to these ppl or better yet go see how they live, u wouldn't last a day in the mountains where electricity is minimal & clean drinking water is still being pulled from the mountains. been there done that, oh yeah i'm a US citizen born & raised, educated & employed. why don't u get a back bone & stop whining about ppl taking ur jobs, if u r intimidated by a person w/ a 6th grade education i think it would b obvious that u need to get back to school & fast while u still have a chance. if not shut that hole in ur face cuz all i'm smelling is a whole lot of sh*t!!!!

Thanks Cher! It's 5:30 am for me and I've already had a great laugh. Wow I needed it too, after waking up at 4 to make breakfast and get my man off to work, feed the chickens and horses, milk the cow, water my garden, collect the eggs and all, I can now get out and mend that fence,pull my weeds, and mow my lawn with something to laugh about. Maybe I'll even get the manure shoveled out of my barn and my toilet cleaned since I'm feeling so cheerful this morning. And then I can take my smile off to work with me, that time clock awaits. Please hear my sarcasm and know it's for all those illegal supporters out there that continue to call us REAL Americans lazy. Now to answer your great question........It pains me to say it......They don't have to get a back-bone in this country......illegal supporters, greedy business owners, and our Government has made it easy for them. Infact they've made it easier for them to live in this country then for most Americans. They don't see that the easy way out has caused them the loss of the pride and integrity their ancestors once had and they don't really care that their character is being destroyed. Illegal supporters don't give a rats *** that they are aiding in the destruction of an entire culture, and apparently the illegals have already lost so much of who they once were they don't care either. America has provided the means for their own destruction and they really believe this is the better thing for their people. They don't need a back-bone the way things stand now. Sad isn't it?

First of all what do you mean by "survive"? "Survive" like stay alive? or "Survive" like being able to make a decent living? Ya know, be it legal or illegal immigrants our "backbone" comes from within. Your life is what you make it, you really have no one to blame for your mistakes, mishaps, failures, misunderstandings, etc.. True may it be that your childhood obviously has an effect on your adulthood and it's perspective, but even children know right from wrong, we all know what we what and how to achieve in getting it, it just depends on wether you're willing to make it happen, be it the right or wrong (bad) way. Most of all our decisions stem from our past experiences or education. True, positive influential guidence throughout our childhood helps to aide in our adult decisions, but then again we all know right from wrong.
Now when you are referring to "our ancestors" how far back are we talking? Keep in mind most illegeal immigrant "ancestors" were smuggled here and enslaved, all races. They had no choice but to obey the commands given or suffer what consequence may be. It was wasn't smart to individually take a "stand" alone, which was why, only when united, and forced to take obnoxious behavioral actions, that they were then taken seriously, (more like cautioned against, for the protection of society). I think you should probly restate and clarify your question.

why is it all Americans think that immigrants just come to the US, take aways their jobs, apply for social help, and use money of "earnest" American tax payers. for your information, a lot of immigrants (especially illegal ones) are really hard-working. I wonder what you really know about being an immigrant or how many immigrants you actually met in your life. my advice to you, open your eyes and maybe read a book "The world is flat". that might give you a new perspective on the issue.

Let me have the great pleasure to answer this: Their ancestors fought hard for their land, cultivating it and working night and day, they were proud and happy to be there in "their place" their LAND, their home country, but what happened: OTHERS as you know who came and stole it, killed them, raped their women and killed their children.
