Christians, are you going to hell if the bible translators got heaven confused with hell?

Did the translators screw up? Hmm...unlikely. Since the Hebrew texts were translated into the Greek language by Hebrew and Greek speaking scholars up to 300 years before Christ's birth, do you think they might've had a clue?

Further, since we have over 24,000 papyri and parchment manuscripts for the New Testament in Greek, Ethiopic, Armenian, Slavic and Latin, and that these languages are still spoken today, that the translators might, just might, have a clue?

I have been to Korea and Germany. I was taught some rudimentary language by people who had a working knowledge of both, and discovered that they knew what they were talking about! I could speak a language that they taught me! I was actually able to communicate with people in those countries! Imagine that!

Now, honestly, don't you think the same situation applies to the original languages found in the Bible? Or because it is a "religious" text, the standards are different?

Just so you know, the King James translators used a 9th century Hebrew manuscript for their Old Testament, called the Masoretic Text. When the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947, they were compared with the Masoretic Text. The Dead Sea Scrolls are dated to circa 150 B.C. With about 1000 years between them, there was an amazing degree of unanimity between the two. So the Old Testament we read today is completely accurate, and the same as the one Jesus would've had during his lifetime of earth.

There have been biblical translators for centuries. 100% of them have said "heaven" and "hell" where they were supposed to, there's no contradiction. I seriously doubt if 100% of them got it backwards. Someone BY NOW would have caught on to the mistake, no? Makes sense to me.
