Let's see...I don't think this will make them cry...but here's the truth. On the other hand, maybe it will?

It's a cult...Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep, but are really wolves that will tear you apart.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets will appear and will lead many people astray.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach their destructive heresies about God and even turn against their Master who bought them. Theirs will be a swift and terrible end.

Revelation 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

Besides the above:

- the Mormon understanding of eternal life is not rooted in an emphasis on grace alone through faith alone. Rather, eternal life is identified with following the rules and procedures of the Mormon Church.

- Mormon understanding of the Bible is skewed because of prior and ultimate trust in the Book of Mormon and the other Mormon scriptures (Doctrine and covenants and Pearl of Great Price).

- Mormonism departs from Christian orthodoxy.

- Mormons are also taught that the gods used to be men, who grew up to become gods.

- Worthy Mormon males can become gods someday. While some Mormon intellectuals claim that these notions about god are not official teachings, they are the views of the majority of the LDS faithful.

- Though Mormons give Jesus supremacy in their articles, the LDS understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ is radically harmed by the emphasis on the life and teaching of JSJ

- JSJ has three different accounts of the monumental moment that changed his life. The three different accounts change, when, where and who appeared to him. (Just couldn't keep it straight...)

- All of the other churches in the world got it wrong and he was able to "restore" the true gospel of Jesus. Matthew 16:18 Now I say to you that you are Peter, [ Peter means "stone" or "rock."] and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell [ Greek and the gates of Hades.] will not conquer it.

- Problems with the Book of Mormon – House of Cards…a) Smith can’t be trusted with his integrity. He is no reliable witness in earthly matters let alone heavenly ones, b) the Book of Mormon is a product of the 19th century. It deals with religious issues common to Smith’s day, including debates over the proper name of the Christian church, the fate of the heathen, the proper mode of baptism and so on, c) contrary to popular Mormon sentiment, there is no archaeological support for its version of what was going on in the Americans from 2200 BC through AD 400. Archaeologists do not use it as a field guide for the study of the geography and history of the Americas. The Smithsonian Institution in Washington regularly sends out notices that its workers do not use the Book of Mormon. Likewise, anthropologists reject the common Mormon view that American natives are descendants of Jews who migrated to the Western hemisphere.

- The Book of Mormon copies/quotes the KJV of the Bible (1611). One must ask themselves: Why is the King James language being quoted in something that was allegedly written more than a thousand years earlier? Historians have tracked down other books that likely influenced Smith in his authorship of the Book of Mormon. Of particular importance is "View of the Hebrews" written by Ethan Smith. Smith's work duplicates Ethan Smith's earlier work.

- Character of the founder – One should be suspicious about the Mormon gospel, given the dishonesty, arrogance and immorality of Joseph Smith. In 1826, after his alleged visits from heavenly messengers, Smith was arrested for “glass looking” (use of a magic device to find buried treasure). Wes Walters discovered the court documents that implicate Joseph Smith in this unlawful scheme. It is hard to trust Smith’s integrity on heavenly treasure (the so-called “golden plates” buried by the angel) when he was a deceiver and a lawbreaker by attempting to find early treasure on the property of gullible individuals. Further, the lying and scheming behind Joseph Smith’s plural marriage discredits him as a prophet of God. In the Mormon History of the Church, Smith expresses astonishment that he is being accused of having seven wives and claims that he has only one wife. In fact, as Mormon historians admit, he was married to at least thirty-three women besides his original wife. Some of these women had living husbands at the time. The history of Mormon polygamy, particularly in the case of its founding prophet, is a story of deception and unbearable heartache. Genesis 2:23 "At last!" Adam exclaimed. "She is part of my own flesh and bone! She will be called `woman,' because she was taken out of a man." 24 This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. ((If male and female become one...then neither can be married to another...or they wouldn't be one)).

-Mormons are still taught that dark skin is a sign of a prior curse in the in the eternal realm.

-Mormons also argue that the natives of the Americas are descendents of Jews who came to the West hundreds of years before the time of Jesus.

There are many reasons Christians believe that the Mormon religion is a false (cult) religion...

The Book of Mormon clearly distorts the New Testament of the Holy Bible and the road to Salvation (Hope) where it is clearly laid out.

I'm done...he, he, he...

Read the book "Under the Banner of Heaven" by Jon Krakauer. Its about a couple mormons who thought they were ordered by God to kill people. The book also goes into the various aspects and problems with the religion. It was really interesting. As for arguments---------the story of how their religion came to be is ridiulous. It seems like an acid trip story than the actual basis for a world religion. The religion up until a few years ago was very condemning of anyone that wasn't white. Even now, the religion frowns upon interracial marriages. It believes in total conformation to their religion or else. Dissent is not allowed.

Why on Earth would you ever wanna intentionally hurt someone to make them cry???

Another good book is "The Maze of Mormonism" by Walter Ralston Martin. Martin shows how the Book of Mormon contradicts with the Bible, and how it contradicts itself. He was also a dj back in the 80's for KKLA, a Christian radio station in Los Angeles, and his show was called The Bible Answer Man.

particularly plenty any argument you may declare is against Mormons you may prepare in some way or yet another against different religions or Christian sects, too. in case you attempt to "save" a Mormon, dont concern. maximum Mormons that finally end up leaving the church finally end up only no longer being non secular or an atheist because of the fact it is somewhat complicated to circulate from the LDS view of God and the point of existence to a distinctive religions.

There's a verse in revalations. It's 3 something. When you present it to them in their own bible, they will either say that God has changed it and the changed version is in the book of mormon, or they will just say thank you for your time and walk away. But I wouldnt do that. If i was you, i would learn all i could about them, and then get well read on your own bible. The next time they come back you will be prepared to shoot down everything they say, and present God word as the truth.

Read the book "Under the Banner of Heaven" by Jon Krakauer, and you will get some good ideas. Like how their prophet Joseph Smith was a womanizer who got Lewinsky's from random women.

The goal isn't to beat Mormons in a theological debate. Although, I selfishly admit it's fun. The goal is to be used by God in an effort to bring them to admit the truth regarding God. Few people are argued into Christianity.

Stop being mean. Most mormons eventually learn that they are brainwashed, so I just leave them alone. Its mainstream Christianity that has a problem.

Yes, read your Holy Bible, and hear their message and prayerfully ask God if their message is not true; in sincere prayer, with real intent without mockery or being opinionated: that if to accept this message is what He wants you to do, then do so accordingly.

mormons say that Satan and Jesus are both created beings and brothers and that's just wrong. Jesus is God, and satan is lucifer an angel that God created. mormonism is a false religion and it is heresy cause it says that Jesus is not God even though Jesus very clearly said that He is God
