No. Hey, I'm younger than u, so I'm not gonna say anything. I don't think there is a "2 young 2 be dating' age....it all depends on the kid!
Hey i am going into 7th, & my bf is goin' into 8th!
He's a year and a half older.....i don't think 2 years is that big of a deal. It would actually be better cuz, u would be closer in maturity!
It's not really a problem....it'll just be harder, cuz u'll go 2 different school eventually.....& u'll know different people. Choose whatever u think u & her both happy. We all know most young relationships wind up being a huge heartbreak, but if it's worth a shot, then go for it.
I wish u the best of luck! :-)
By the way,
Whenever I ask a question about "dating" & I mention my age, I get about 15 answers sayin' I'm "2 young 2 be dating"....it annoys me 2 death!!!!

Well, the older you get, the less age differences matter. I remember that when I was in 8th grade, it was pretty scandalous for a guy in my class to be dating a girl in 6th grade. But a year or two later, it's no big deal. So yeah, it may be a bit of a big gap now since she's technically still in elementary school, but why not wait to go out with her in high school, when it will be totally cool and accepted?

2 years man no. With all the problems in the world I do not think it is wrong for a grade 8 and a 6 to be dateing. But don't have sex at leas t not yet the law will bite you hard. Wait 4 years if you can if not move on.

Go placidly amid the noise
And the haste and remember
What peace there may be in silence?
As far as possible without surrender
Be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly,
And listen to others,
Even the dull and ignorant,
They too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
They are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself to others
You may become vain or bitter,
For always there will be greater
And lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as
Your plans, Keep interested in
Your career however humble;
It is a real possession in the
Changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
For the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you
To what virtue there is;
Many persons strive for high ideals,
And everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself, especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
For in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
It is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years gracefully
Surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture the strength of spirit to shield you
In sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself
With imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue
And loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline,
Be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the
Trees and the stars: You have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt
The universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you
Conceive him to be; and whatever your labours
And aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life,
Keep peace with your soul.
With all its shams, drudgery and
Broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

No it's not a problem, however ,seriously, you should keep it pretty innocent for a while. You don't realize that people your age get very hurt emotionally if having sex. You can do as you please, but I would hate for you to find out after someone has given you some really good input on this subject.

At those ages age is pretty critical. Two years younger than you is probably too young. Try to find someone your age or about 1 year apart. The development gap it too wide.
