Try a bunch of them out and see which you like. Go to www.frozen tech.com click on their live cd list. Start with small distros, Puppy linux, slax, slax kill bill . Run them from the live cd and if you like one install it. If you need a larger distro, try kanotix or ubuntu. also live cds. In spite of what every one seems to think, linux isn't all that difficult and it is a lot of fun learning. Good luck.

there are a number of techniques you're able to try this. the only that works ultimate for me is as follows, 2 separate complicated drives with the potential linked to it one on the time with a AB change. It does not resolve your capture 22 challenge with one stress, yet once you sense like being in Linux mode, then potential up the Linux stress. If domicile windows is the alternative for the day, then change to the different stress and voila! it is kinda like driving, you the two take the 4 wheeler out for a spin, or the Ferrari, relies upon on your temper on the time.

suse linux 10 is very similar to windows. However, I would not switch to linux just because windows is unstable. linux has a high learning curve.
