There is a nice lady I would like to start talking to. Ive known her at work for 6 months. We say hi and how are you once awhile. Thats all so what should I say next time to get her interest in me?

Be interested in her. You can compliment her on a color she's wearing, or say something about the weather. Anything light and general to get the ball rolling, let her know you'd like to talk. If someone else at work knows her, you can find out what she likes to do, where she likes to go, and say something like, "Joe told me you really enjoy horror movies. Have you seen . . . ?" That lets her know.

Try to find out something about her from other coworkers. Maybe you share a common interest or hobby. You might want to ask her for coffee or lunch. The next time you see her, tell her that just seeing her has brightened your day.

Find out which is the latest interesting movie. Then tell her one of your friends fell sick and can't attend the movie and whether she would like to accompany you to this movie. Or you could find out which route she goes home by and tell her your going the same way, and if she would like to go in your vehicle. If she already has a vehicle, then tell her to give you a lift and go with her. and come back by yourself later on. you could also ask her if she would like to have tea or coffee and some snacks after work.

Just ask her out to dinner with some friends, by doing this it'll be an ice breaker and talk and get to know one another and go from there.

Tell her an innocent joke, once you get someone laughing it breaks the tension between you two. Tell her a different joke everyday, then she will get the hint that you like her, then ask her out to lunch.
