One is 23 years old, has long hair, wears glasses, and a really cute face. He is very sweet, doesn't talk very much (is silent and keeps to himself), only answering the questions he is asked, with very short simple answers, and it takes awhile for him to start answering that question:
I ask him 'how old are you?' I wait at least two minutes for a respond: I get a really soft spoken and very slow 23.
The second guy is 35, has short hair, he also wears glasses, has a very handsome face. He is also very sweet, talks just a little bit more than the first, loves to reads the newspaper, and doesn't take very long to answer a question.
I ask him 'how old are you?' I only wait 30 seconds for him to answer: I get a medium-slow 35.
But....THEY BOTH HAVE MENTAL ILLNESSES!?!?!?!?!?!?
As for me, I'm 20 years old, totally confused and lovestruck by BOTH of them.....CAN YA"LL PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't specify what the illness is. I hope they are not violent. Mental illness can be mild or severe and many people suffer mental illness. My guy is mentally ill but being treated (severe depression but he is non-violent). I choose to stay with him. I choose to help him in his treatment and recovery. Good luck with your situation. I don't know if you are trying to choose which one to be with or just confused because they are ill. I hope things work out for you. I know it can be so hard to be the healthy one with mentally ill loved one.

I'm not sure what your problem is. You say they're both nice and if their mental illness doesn't bother you and you can deal with the effects of it then, it shouldn't be a problem. If ur asking which one you should choose then I would say the 35 year old only because the slow responses with the 23 year old seem to kinda bug you and that is kinda weird! Good Luck! :-)

Well, it is ok to love retarded peeps. I know a friend of mine, and he is just so depressed without support and help. A marriage can do that. HOWEVER, you wont have the sexual sides of the marriage, but more of the "family" ones.
