From a hairstylist... It all depends on whats going on with your hair and/or scalp. If your hair is dry try a moisturing shampoo and conditioner. Nexxus Therrape shampoo and Humetress Conditioner. It is also good for color treated hair. Oily?... try Biolage Normalizing Shampoo and Detangling Solution Conditioner. Dry Scalp?... Nexxus and Matrix has a shampoo for that too. Need body?...control frizzy? there are shampoos and conditioner for all you needs... just go to a professional salon and ask.

It definitely depends on your hair type. My hair gets superfrizzy easily. I think Kiehls makes the best there is and I have tried everything. You've gotta get it at a Kiehl's store or at Nieman Marcus. It is worth every penny. You can get it online too if your city doesn't have either of those. Just get the kind that is for your hair type. Makes my frizzy hair like silk!!

I don't think it really matters what shampoo you use...as long as you wash your hair daily. I use whatever is in the bathroom and my hair is always shiny, soft, and healthy.

I personally LOVE grisi's chamomile shampoo and conditioner. they leave your hair feeling sooo incredibly soft, silky and lustrous and smells really good too. it says on the bottle that it lightens hair, but if your hair is naturally dark-haired or color-treated with dark haircolor, the effects are supremely minimal.

Okay, I promise I am tellin the truth! Suave is the best. Those other (more expensive) brands can damage ur hair. I asked the lady that cuts my hair the exact same ?.

I love Aussie Moist. Makes my hair so smooth without even using conditioner...though they have that too. They also have a "3 minute miracle" that works great.

I usually just use whatever I have in my shower too, but I think Garner Fructis is pretty good (the green bottle). It helps my hair anyway.

I use Bed Head. It's fabulous, and there are a bunch of different types of it for each type of hair. It can get pricey, but it's totally worth it.
