My kitten is almost 1 year old and she has been throwing up all day long. We've been giving her the same food for a while so I don't think it's that. Any ideas?

If she keeps getting sick tomarrow I'll bring her to the vet.

welll i think i see the problem. That sneaky little cat jumped into the sink and was drinking the dirty soapy water. (She has clean water offered 24/7) Then 5 minutes later I caught her in the garbage eating some steak.

Ughhhh This can't be good.

It wasnt hairballs she was throwing up, it was her cat food. She's not on any medicine, and she doesn't go outside.

Neither the soapy water nor the steak in the garbage was there earlier, so that wasnt the initial problem, although I'm sure that didnt help.

The soapy water could have been upsetting her stomach. If the vomiting persists, take her to the Vet immediately.

in case your cat is throwing up, you may desire to no longer be posting questions finding for diagnosis right here. there is no way everyone can pinpoint what's incorrect. Take the cat to a vet and function them look the cats over. many times it is brought about with the aid of ingesting some thing undesirable or some inner disease, some thing you want a vet to be sure and propose treatment.

Well i love animals and i know a lot about them and it's usually from the food they eat but in your cats case it's not. I think that she probably got a hold of some rotten food or she could just have a cold. i would observe how she acts and then see what happens. Good luck!

You should call poison control. Does the cat go out? If so, probably has been poisoned. If not, may have gotten into something that is not good for it.
It may not make it through the night. Try to get it to the vet now.

You are not giving her any medicines are you? I had to give my cat some droppers of medicine for a urinary tract infection and she puked all day and was very lethargic and depressed. I would definitely take her to the vet tomorrow ASAP. Imagine how you'd feel puking all day... Even if she seems better tomorrow you should take her to the doc.

Take her to the vet. Maybe you mopped the floor with a cleaner and the cat walked on the floor, then she licked her paw. She licked poison. I don't know but maybe that could be it. She is sick. Take her to the vet.

Do you clean with Pinesol? This can be toxic to cats , I'd go ahead and let the Vet see her tommorow...Better Safe than Sorry

she is sick most likely some kinda stomach virus.
you need some pet health insurance if you really love your animal.
I have some insurance for my Great Danes and 1 got sick with Parvo and it really helped out financialy and I was able to afford to save her life.

Good idea. Bring her to the vet. Maybe she has been eating something bad while you weren't looking. Good luck.
