My friend took a Urine drug test for pre-employment, she did not have enough urine in the cup for the test. So she added around 5cc of tap water in the cup, she had at least 55 cc of urine in the cup. The technician marked her temperature as being correct on the paper she recieved, and the color was correct. She has no kinds of illegal drugs in her system she just didnt have enough urine for the test. Should she pass

Probably won't affect it at all. She added such a small amount that it won't dilute the sample much, and there isn't anything in tap water that would change the results: its H2O and minerals. However, she probably should have just told the person she couldn't get quite enough; they probably would have said it was fine.

My daughter, age 29, was given a drug test. Her results came back negative but she was told that there was an abnormal amount of water in her urine that could have affected the results. Is this true?
