There are also written documents of people seeing witches flying on brooms....little boys going to Hogwarts to become sorcerers or whatever.....and so on. None of them are true. Get over it - the Bible is a bunch of stories written down years - if not hundreds of years - after the fact, designed to teach a moral.

And how do you know there is just one God? Read Genesis where "God" says "Let US make man in OUR image." That's plural, indicating more than one god. Maybe it should be "Gods" in order to be correct. Think about it.

Adam and Eve?
The first five books were written down by Moses... that was a long time after the Adam-and-Eve "fact".

The Bible is not exactly scientific documentation.

Because that document was written by men, translated many times over by men and it cannot be trusted to be the absolute truth. There are too many inconsistencies throughout the document as well.

Also, I don't want to worship a God that instructs his people to kill others in his name if they don't believe in him. That is not an entity that I would give my life for.

I believe in God myself and Jesus BUT written proof does not proove anything.

There are still written testimonials of known chicanery such as Big Foot, Crop Circles, and Loch Ness Monter. Even tough in ALL three cases the people who brought it up originally fessed up to lieing about it!

Words are just that, Words. Because it was written, does not make it fact. But, if people want to see God, they need look no farther then inside themselves, and all around themselves.

There is written proof of people seeing many things. Unicorns, dragons, fairies (not the human ones), Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, talking animals......

Anybody can write anything, it is whether you want to believe in it or not.

It is due to their predetermined mind they are unable to accept God. Many times truth is rejected only because of this mental situation. To accept Him, first they have to accept they were wrong. Their ego doesn't allow them to do that.

Have you seen some people say many times that I don't like so and so food. There may not be anything wrong with that item or its taste. They created a character within them to reject it. One of the reasons for this is, it is a way to keep themselves different from the rest. Lack of good values make them to adopt such peculiar natures. Now even if they wanted to enjoy it only because they have to change their mind set, they are unable to have it.

I feel sorry for them.

Meanwhile, the LORD instructed one of the group of prophets to say to another man, "Strike me!" But the man refused to strike the prophet. Then the prophet told him, "Because you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, a lion will kill you as soon as you leave me." And sure enough, when he had gone, a lion attacked and killed him.
