No, It not the number of kids, it is how the mother treats them. I have a friend who spoiled all three of hers and they now totally control her. She does what THEY say or else.

My best friend ever [[also my neighbor]]..is an only child and she was very spoiled she would NEVER say thank you and would take everything she had for granted..on christmas you would ask her so how weas your christmas? did ya get everything you wanted? and she would be SOOO ungrateful and whine and say no it was bad because she didnt get blah blah blah but meanwhile she got sooo much stuff!..she was never grateful for what she had & i really hated that with me being on the poor side & not getting christmas present & her getting tons & tstill not being happy..
icannot to this day stand spoiled people..you really can't take anything for granted!...you have love what ya got since you can't always get what ya love.

'spoiling' is all about how a kid is raised and parented! spoiled parents produce spoiled kids whereas informed, loving, intelligent parents produce okay kids.
get some parent training and then make as many kids as you like.

2 that are close together in age is ideal in my opinion. I have one of each they are best Friends (now 20-21)and are 10 months apart. They were in sports in school great hobbies. No TV reading and playing games together and there friends. Then TV. They are very well rounded.

i'm the oldest (14) of three kids. (sister is 11, brother is 9) and the greatest thing about it is that everything is "we" not "I". to me, being spoiled with stuff is just useless... i'd never trade what i have for that, not ever. the greatest thing is having someone to be with always, whether it be on car trips or the beach or anywhere, to share with. the best things that have happened to me include my brother and sister, like when my sister finished a book i gave her, like my brother running to be yelling about how his little league team just won and he's glad i saw his batting. i try my hardest to be at their events to watch them. unconditional love is amazing... my siblings are people i complain with, laugh with, be myself with. they mean the most to me. i hadn't realized that until recently, but they are all important to me. like when i was on a school trip for 6 days, and called home 8 times, and how thrilled they were to hear from me, how thrilled i was to talk to them. its great being the one they run to with good news, and the funnest things are the simplest in life. like playing catch with my brother, playing silly rediculous games with my sister. i couldn't live without them...i couldn't be me without them. i love them more than anything. so, in my opinion, the greatest thing you can give a kid is a sibling. it's better to let them live together than to spoil one kid. kids with siblings never leave their childhood, they can still have fun and be a kid at heart. so, it's better to have more than one child, so they can grow up together. i know this was long, but i really feel strongly about this. because my sister and brother are my everything. i hope this helped u, good luck!
