Ouch! No, probably not. Just get a wart remover from CVS. I've heard that it works, but it probably would look ridiculous if it was in a conspicuous spot (I had one on my thumb), plus it would hurt to take off if there was any hair in the area.
Just go to your local drugstore and get some wart remover stuff, or you can get little band-aid like things that will take it off. They're probably the most effective. I used this stuff that came in a little brown bottle. You put it on with this nail polish type brush and let it dry. I would let it dry then put a band-aid over it so it didn't stand out a lot (because it's white when it's on your skin). It's water-proof, so let it stay there for a couple days, then peel off what you can and put on a new coat. It should be gone in like, a week.
Good luck!

Warts are a fungus. MSM and H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) are oxygenators. Fungus doesn't do well with lots of oxygen. MSM is made from DMSO, which I once (a year ago) put on a wart. After a few days the wart crumbled & fell off when I felt it, leaving new pink skin behind. No wart grew back. (A friend had had the same results with a wart she'd had.) I suggest MSM instead of DMSO, as it is safer to use. You can dilute it in water, or buy it in a cream. (I dilute mine in water.)

I've heard rumors that it does, but have actually never seen it work. Warts are caused by a virus and they can spread. If it starts to bother you, then you may want to consider going to a doctor or dermatologist to get it removed. They have many ways of removing warts...either freezing them, burning them, or actually cutting them out. Best of luck to you.........

If that doesn't work, try aloe vera gel. It supposedly helps remove warts according to a natural health journal I read recently.

Actually yes it can, sometimes. Sometimes when you apply compound W, patients cover it with duct tape. This cuts off the air supply, and it could possibly work. I've seen weirder things.

Could be..just the superficial (surface ) but the virus causing the warts is still there thus having the tendency to grow back. Why not try..electrodessication (cautery) or Laser. The heat will help eradicate the Virus. Hope this helps. ;0

Seems to work. There was a journal article on that topic a few years ago.
