im sorry you are sad but it sounds like he was just trying to do you a favor and be nice by giving you a ride home and having a chat with you... you should look for another guy to ask you out. Try not to let this ruin your prom :( Go by yourself if you have to , its not lame, It just gives you more freedom !!!!

The reason you're confused, is because you're the only one who's attempting to make something out of nothing. I don't know how long you and this guy have been going out but, you need to stop with the, "This Mary girl." thing and start focusing on your life! It's obvious you haven't asked him if he was seeing someone. So, I take it that, you just assumed that he wasn't and formed some idea in your head that you two had something special. Stop it! You're no fool! So, stop acting all innocent and stuff! You know there's few people here on Answers that will show pity; I'm just glad I'm not one of them. You know what to do!

When you are young, you will like many different boys...and they will like many different girls...and you will like them for different reasons. He might like you for a different reason than he likes this other girl...and it is okay. The best thing you can do is just be yourself...because then if they still like you...it is real. When you are young, it is hard to know what is real...so he probably likes you and I wouldn't worry too much...and save that dress, because if you don't get to use it this time, you will get to use it some other time, kay?

Kick him in the junk!
Just kidding. Go talk to him and tell him he better dump Mary and take you to the prom. If he refuses, then you know what to do.

he is a two =timer and he is not ready to commit to just you.. i hope you can find a excellent date for the prom to show him up...i think this is lousy but guys do this all the time.. most are after one thing...but some are genuinely caring and just want to date and have friends,,,so good luck and hope you get a date to the prom and show him you do not need him.. you have to have to mcuh pride to be involved with a two-timer

being a man, my advice is, get over it, he's a man.
you are much better than he is and always will be.
Find a better prom date, and do it fast.
there is likely someone that has been poking, tripping, etc on you that likely did it because he likes you.
That is the best man, be it a nerd, dweeb, hunk, or otherwise.
Also, ask your first choice, maybe he's been waiting for you too.

DUMP HIM! forget him find someone else. he doesn't seem to keep his relationships very long. if he like you bad he will come to you. if he does tell him anything that your heart feels like. I have a question for you :did these things happen before you started liking him? if you answer is yes it's probly his old girl friend.

Sweetie, this is the type of boy that goes out with as many girls as he can just to see what he can get. There are many boys out there that will treat you better. Please don't get involved with this boy, because he will hurt you as he already has. I am so sorry for your pain, but take relationships really slow so you won't get hurt.
