To ask a question like this, one has to be fully convinced there is absolutely nothing wrong with the religion that will rule the whole world.

Is christianity such a religion? I dont think so. I think there are so many flaws and someone or the other will question and start something else.

So i dont think christianity will one day be the only relgion in the world.

Humans have an innate tendency to discriminate themselves from other humans (either to please their ego, or due to some insecurity). Thus, if whole world becomes "christians" then only the name has changed from "humans" to "christians". The divisions in christianity (Methodists, Adventists, Baptists, Evangelists, Prebysterians, Mormons, Catholics, Orthodox, and the several thousand variations like Korean Christians...) will evolve into their own religions quickly in order not to allow any one sect cannibalize their own kind.

Further, diversity is a necessary aspect of evolution. If the whole world adopted a uniform code of life style, same religion, same food, same language etc then the human race will end up in an evolutionary death. Therefore, it is important to respect and encourage diversity in all spheres of life.

The only way possible that Christianity could convert people of every non-Christian faith is if all Christians first become visibly united with each other in agreeing on only one version of Jesus, have only one version of our faith, and become one visible Church. The only way to do that is to have a Pope.

And the only way that is possible is if all Christians return to the Catholic Church and accept the authority that Jesus gave to the office of Peter. This would take away the mass confusion among believers over what it means to be "Christian".

As long as it looks to non-Christians that we Christians can't even agree on one version of Jesus then many won't become Christians because of that reason.

This is not possible. Even in Christianity, there are sects and parts, who prefer different methods to follow relegion. few colour are bound to be in the bow, even if it is not a rainbow. But for converting the whole world to Christianitty, one colour is going to be prominent, RED. A colour of Blood.

There wouldn't be any more rainbows because the Christian work ethic would burn up all the resources in the earth and someone would decide that it was time for a Rapture and blow the whole damned thing up.

Nope...

We would have polychromatic rainbows with iridescent hues :)

If all humans were to become committed Christians (true Christians who follow and obey Christ), there would be no crime, vastly reduced hunger and suffering, love and caring instead of hatred and vituperation...

Cordially,
John

Probably. Because there is only be one true color. Gray. Or actually, a better bet would be cause there is only be one true rainbow.

Amusing thought. And we'd all agree that it was beautiful, right? Unless we were different types of Christians... lol.
