i have a guy friend(i'm a girl) and i would walk with him everday after school and sometimes it was akward and when we did talk he would say things like "(sigh) so what's up?" (he was a shy-ish kid so it didn't sound corny) or things like "so what'd you do this weekend." or he would start conversations with the weather like "(sighs) it's freakin hot"
