i think that a girl should know a guy at least a little before dating him. and i dont think that she has to know any of his friends beforehand, either.

A date is a date, a girl does not really have to know someone that long to just date them (like movies, dinner, home, with no good night kiss). If you are talking about a serious relationship then the girl should at least date and get to know the boy for 6 months (this does not include SEX, just getting to know the person and having fun together). And she does not have to know his friends, if you are smart you wont let your friends get too close because one might charm her or she might think one of your friends is cuter, has more money, is more fun to be around etc.
