I had a right ankle fusion on July 3rd. I am now in my 2nd. cast. I expect pain, alot of pain, which is normal.
I am on a pain medication and I take it as written. I would really appreciate your prayers in connection to this because my days are filled with discomfort. I have 11 short weeks to go. There was no recourse for this except fusion. I have a great orthopedic surgeon and I admire his work.. I feel any prayers are welcome and could assist in my recovery. Thank you.

see if you can find a Reiki healer in your area to get some hands on healing. you can usually find a massage therapist who is one to. Most don't charge except a love offering or what you can give. Some do charge, which I think is wrong. But that is my opinion. If you don't find anyone contact me with your name and location (you don't have to send address or anything) and I will send long distance healing if you wish..

Just stay off of it and do what your dr. suggest... try to go easy on the pain meds. Use meditation or mind over matter to ease the pain instead of taking pills..

ask ur surgeon to give u a different pain medicine. nothing over the counter is gonna be strong enough.
another option is to try acupuncture, but try to find a person who has experience with ur type of condition.
