you don't ignore it, i suffer from it too. i have found breathing/relaxation techniques to be helpful as well as just trying to distract myself. i hate waiting in lines too, so i just try to go to places when i know the line will be short or bring my ipod to keep my mind off of it. i suggest you see a therapist, they will be able to help you the best as you probably need cognitive behavorial therapy. good luck, i know how bad this problem can get.

You really shouldn't ignore it. If you mean you try to suppress it that is different. I have agoraphobia. There are some great techniques and medications out there that can help. Seek help, it won't just go away. The best of luck to you.

I m pretty much the same way. I have a hard time going to Wal Mart where it's real crowded. Much rather go to a small shop, with few customers.

I dont think you can ignore it because it impacts your life so much. I'd check with the primary doc or considering talk therapy to learn ways to deal.

im learning about this right now actually. you really do need to see a clinician though, because they will provide you with the right treatment and im not talking about medication - they will actually help you adjust to public settings so that you become comfortable with it. please dont give up and be strong. hang in there you can over come this.

Actually it's quite common. Maybe you should talk to a doctor about your fears. I wish you luck

Hey!! You're just like me, it's not agoraphobia, it's called patience...and we don't have it.
