Truthfully, when a person just begins a diet - a serious one - it's quite customary to see a weight drop in the 5 pound range in the first (and only) week. But that's all the excess fluids leaving your body, not the fat you hope for. So in one week or even 4 days of a serious, controlled diet, you just might see the scale go down the 4 lbs. Sadly though, it's an illusion as to what's really going on. And if you were to keep up the serious diet beyond the first week, a more realistic loss would be about 2 lbs per week. It's so easy to put it on, so awful to take it off. :)

Under 20 carbs a day, lots of water, and walk or exercise. I dropped 10 pounds, of course it will be water weight, and it is not good to stay under 20 carbs for longer than a few weeks. You have to gradually introduce good carbs back into your meals such s from whole wheat no white bread, veggies, some fruits like strawberries or raspberries..

that's easy...i've had to lose 6 in 4 days
drink only water..no juice no soda nothin but water
don't eat any bread
when I did it i only ate turkey and tuna
but I guess it would not matter as long as it was low in fat
