The one I make now is pretty good, but I think it could be better and I'm ready to move on... LOL Please, don't list any special Indian ingred's that aren't readily available in regular grocery stores b/c I won't be able to get it=( (ie garam masala...). And one that doesn't take a huge amount of prep work or time please! Thanks!!!

tks, but measurements please?! And yes, i can get Indian spices, but not ready made things like garam masala (unless I wanna spend an arm and a leg). And I don't really care for chilies, too hot. I could eat spoonfuls of curry powder but the chilies are just a little OTT for me.

i start with 3 heaped tablespoons of butter melted in a hot pot then add 1 tablespoon of curry poweder (of your choice) then 2 teaspoons of garlice from the jar the same of ginger, the same of mustared the add 2 finly diced onions cook for 2 mins..... then add 3 heaped tablespoons of selfraising flour....cook for 1 min....add 1-1.5 litres of milk (ilkke to add cocnut milk) optunal. keep siring on a high heat until mix thickens then add what ever pree cooked veg or meat....add pepper and salt to tast...hope this works well for you...its afamily fav in my house

making a curry, the main item shld be, chilli power, gram masala, fish / chicken curry powder, if u cant find this items, how the hell u managed to make a good curry. also u need sm indian spicies as well, like mustard sees, curry leaves etc...anyway besides this... just a tip, put sm coconut milk..will make the curry tastier....
