Depends on the size of the guy.

My brother is 225 lbs, my husband is 212, and both are over 5'11. I can't lift them at all.

I can lift my dad who weighs about 170 lbs for about 30 seconds by hugging around the waist and lifting.

I can lift my 12 yr old nephew that weighs about 120 lbs like when you cradle a baby for about 1 min.

I have never measured for time or distance, but I know I can lift a man >250 lbs and move him a few feet.

I am standing, he is standing, his arms go over my shoulders, i grab them and lean forward from the waist.
