they make a product called etch it is available at the hardware store. this will prep your floor for paint. rustoleum makes a floor paint that comes with specs to sprinkle in it while it is wet. of course the floor needs to be dry and have no water issues, to test this tape a plastic bag 2 ft x 2 ft to the floor with duct tape wait 24 hours and lift to see if there are water droplets. no droplets good to go. you can also be creative by using different colors and taping off squares to make it look like tiles

First clean your garage floor good with a good household cleanser. Then you could clean it the bad spots with a solvent cleaners Make sure you have proper ventilation when you do this procedure. Then buy a good paint for concrete. You could ask the clerk at the paint store on which concrete paint they would chose. I am sure that they have all selections of colors. Buy yourself a long handed roller stick and several extra rollers to get in the tight spots and corners. Before the paint dries you can sprinkle your glitter. HAVE FUN!!!

clean the floor well with soap and water. Use solvent to get up any oil stains. sweep real well. get eurythane based paint and make sure the area is well ventilated. paint with roller and pole and if you wand get some heavy grit sand say some #3 and spread it lightly for grip while it dries. that way the floor wont be so slick later.

first; super clean the floors with muriatic acid, soap, brush it good. Second; apply a sealer or primer "kiltz" one of the brands that come to mind. later apply paint for floors , could be latex based or enamel based. if for garage get a good one (enamel over latex) if for home interior , bedroom etc. latex based for floors. Home depot, Lowe's and places like those will have the "higher prices" shop around.. Note the acid is the same one utilized to deep clean toilets. it really burns , so diluted at least 10 parts of water for one part of acid.

First clean it well, use TSP to get all the residue off.
Then put on a base coat on good quality concrete paint.
When that has dried, you can apply what ever you like, then finish it off with a clear coat to protect your work.
