If Peace had a language, its own group of words, who has best spoken that language? Who has accomplished the most cultural change with his/her words with the least violence? How did this person use a collection of words to achieve the change? What did this collection of words contain, that are different than the language of war?

This isn't a essay question. It's my interest in understanding ways to practice law and be a mother to young children in a way that changes the way conflict is resolved.

Also, some of the answers assume that peace is reached by ignoring conflict. This is peace faking. And attacking conflict to eliminate the opposing party is Peace Breaking. Peace Making is resolving the conflict where reconciliation occurs.

Also, my question implies effective use of words. So the outcome matters, not just speaking words, but reaching a peaceful result.

Often those who try to preach peace forget that peace does not necessarily mean the reconciliation of two or more entities. It may be that one of the entities must desist and not the others. In the current conflict between Israel and Lebanon, it is Hezbollah that should desist, not Israel. In other words, the terrorists must lose. Only then will there be peace. Peace is often the product of war (Treaty of Versailles) and war is the product of peace (Treaty of Versailles).

Silence is the language of peace. As soon as we object to something, we switch to another language which better conveys tension and trouble.
