Because they like to think they're rugged!! Seriously, my brothers use to always pee outside in our backyard if someone was in the bathroom, rather than wait like 2 minutes! LAZY!!!

We are considerate. Would you rather have us miss the toilet and pee on the floor, or go out and pee in the garden? Plus, we're not expected to leave the seat of the garden down, or to flush the garden. Simpler *and* more considerate.

Definitely more manly to pee outside. Of course, it isn't as manly when you realize you just peed on the air conditioner and now your house is going to smell like urine for weeks, but hey, it's still manly.

I go outside to pee because that is where my compost pile is. I need to pee in it to add nitrogen to the pile since sawdust burns up most of the nitrogen in the decaying process.I hope this helps you in quest to understand people who are different.

I will only go outside if it is closer.
probably by going outside we do not have to hear how we moved the toilet seat, or cannot hit the bowl.
besides the bathroom has guest towels that you are not allowed to use and they are so fancy as to be useless as towels anyway (embroidery or beads or whatever and do not absorb)

They are just being conservative with water. If they pee outside they don't have to flush and therefore save water.

I've often wondered this myself - and asked a friend of mine who constantly does this. Both his answer and my theory are that it's some sort of raw, innate "manness." In short - it makes them feel one with nature - like Tarzan again - a real, beastly man like men once were.
Either that or they do it because...they can. Dorks ;)
