I graduated from college in December 1976 and was over 215. Now I am 50 years old and weigh 154- a loss of 50 pounds.
My weight has fluctuated over the years and I have weighted from 183 to 146 since 1976.
My word of advice is that if you really want to be thin, you have to be obsessive about it. You need to watch your food intake and track your calories.
The success of any weight loss program depends on calories. Calories will make the biggest difference. Then exercise.
If you exercise daily and keep your calories low, you will succeed guaranteed. Do not fool yourself that there is an easy solution. You will have to discipline yourself and be consistent.
It is not that hard. Just get into a good routine that works that you like and keep it up.

I lost 40 pounds in about 4 months cutting out carbs from starch and sugars, drinking at least 64 oz of water a day (if you don't like plain water, add a little lemon juice), and I walked about 30 minutes a day 2-3 days a week, did Tae-Bo 2-3 days a week, and quit smoking. You must quit smoking if you smoke. Your muscles need oxygen to function to thier fullest and if you smoke, your cutting the oxygen supply to your muscles. I ate ice cream or naguhty stuff once in a while but you cant feel bad about it, just pick right back up where you left off. Eat your biggest meal at breakfast so you have all day to burn it off. It is hard the first week but once you start, your sugar cravings will vanish. Oh, I also took sublingual B12, 800 mg of chromium piccolinate, and 3,000 mg of Tanolin CLA every day instead of the diet pills that make you jittery and are full of caffiene. The B12 gives you plenty of energy and so does stretching in the morning.

When I first wanted to lose weight, I did a cardio-workout tape (I prefer tae-bo) for 45 minutes 5 days a week and didn't eat anything after 8 p.m. I also chose only one indulgement (mine was chocolate) to have for the day and no other sweets. I kept track of my food intake and physical intake on this site http://www.mypyramidtracker.gov/ and what helped me the most was eating 5 smaller meals a day and eating a cup of crushed ice whenever I craved food between those meals. I lost 17 my first month and reached my goal of losing 40 lbs after a total of 4 months! You just have to stick with it...it's not that bad and you feel better knowing that you are losing weight and still eating everything on the food group.

A few years back, I lost 86 pounds. I ate a piece of fruit for breakfast, a salad for lunch and a diet frozen meal for supper. I walked everynight and took a dance class two times a week. It took about three/four months to lose it. The sad part of the story it is six years later and I have gained back all of it, and more! After my husband died, I didn't care anymore. Keeping it off and staying motivated is the hardest part. I now have to do it all over again. Best wishes to you.

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

well, I didn't go on E-Diets or anything, but whatever you do, don't buy pre-packaged heath food for two weeks or anything like that. It's a waste of time. Also, forget about pills and shakes, surgery works, but I don't reccomend it. Just balance out your meals with healthy food, and exersize reguraly. It WORKS.
