Mind...in the bible the word "heart" often means mind...
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Soul...the part of man's inner nature which is the seat of our appetites, passions, and sensations. Sometimes the word soul means "person"...
Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Spirit...denotes man's reason, conscience, and nobler affections...in contrast to the soul...our appetites, passions, and sensations...the root meaning of the word spirit is "wind"...
John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Hope this helps...

The soul and spirit are spoken of as the same. In every human the body contains a spirit or soul which has no physical form or shape and cannot be touched or analyzed. Each person can feel or sense their inner spirit and knows that there is more to them than just a physical body. That spirit is a creation of God and begins life when God creates it within the human form. It's end is eternal, if you believe the Bible, and continues to exist outside the body after death. The mind is the brain or memories and part of the human body that processes, stores and uses information and makes decisions. Will the mind continue after death? There are many indications that would make me think that certain functions of the mind and memories do carry on and continue with the spirit. One thing is for sure upon death the spirit leaves the body (container) and passes from a physical world over into a Spiritual world. It is an issue of faith for no one can say for sure one way or the other but unless they have the security and confidence that comes from an encounter with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit of God. The scriptures (Bible) says that when a person accepts Jesus Christ that God's Holy Spirit actually indwells or comes inside our human body to co-exist and live with our inner spirits to prove that we are His.

Genesis 2:7 Â And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The mind is obviously your thoughts. However, examine this verse carefully for the other two.
