Let's see... if population increases, the demands increases...if the demand increases, then the rich class rises the prices...the poor have to work more and make more children... the rich make children to insure their richness... the church get its tither and money for more baptismals, weddings and funerals, thus "be fruitful and multiply"... so... who needs population increase? Chinese communists? to have more soldiers?... Can you give me some reasons why population should increase and until when?

Why do the poor have to make more children? Because they're poor? I hate to point out to you but, that's not where babies come from. Doctors have figured that out.

And how does having kids insure someones richness?

If anyone goes to a church that charges for baptism, that not a good church. That would be like saying "this is gonna get you to heaven, but first you have to pay a cover charge." I've never heard of a church doing that.

Chinese communist are trying to go the other way actually. They have instituted a policy of limiting families to , I believe 1 child. It might be two. But anyway if you already have your limit and become pregnant, they can perform an abortion whether you like it or not. So much for pro-choice.

Certain places such as Nova Scotia do not have enough children being born to maintain their current populations. They are dwindling.

There are probably already way to many people to sustain a modern way of life. I certainly can't think of any reason we collectively need more, but I don't think that's a good argument to disuade individuals from reproducing if they want to.

Well, sounds like your mind is already made up. However, you may want to actually try doing some research on the subject prior to spouting propaganda like this.

Our children are our future. We grow or we go.
