If you are using the cheap grocery store bought shampoos and condtioners there is your problem.. They contain chemical thats can damage your hair.. Also I'd recommend not getting box color as well because of these same chemicals... I would say you should go to a professional salon and buy some professional products. They are wonderful for your hair and do not contain these awful damaging chemicals. Try something in the Matrix line, they are a top seller. Ask your stylist which one would be best for you, Hair is their profession, they know what they are talking about, it may be a little pricey but its well worth it to not damage your hair.

if your hair is mostly dry and tangled at the ends, it may be damaged. damaged hair tends to get very tangled. i would suggest having your hair trimmed, then using any conditioner for everyday, and then doing a deep conditioning treatment once a week.

Pantene extra moisturizing conditioner works for me. I prefer it to any of the expensive brands I've tried.

Have you tried Aussie, three minute miracle? That works well, or for more money, try Redkin, fresh curls...that works awesome.
