As a person who has been through this I have learned that its a control issue. A man sees a woman, wants her cant have her, forces his way into her having to deal then attacks, another of way of saying it is predator =prey, . Most people would think that your boyfriend shoulda killed the dude, I would have personally called the police and told them. Its people like that that should be dead already yanno?

Some people make asshole comments because of power, others because they don't think. Rape under no circumstance is ok, otherwise it wouldn't be rape! There's a huge difference between S&M and rape, the big noticeble one being that it's consentual.
I would try to forget about this incident, or if it really bothers you I would call the store's manager and report his behaviour. It sounds inappropriate if your just walking in for a pack of gum or something.

Emotionally healthy people who view women as humans, not sexual meat, do not think rape of a woman is good.

But, I have had some weird experiences. I learned that most rape victims in the US are almost certainly men, men in prison. And, when I tell women this, they almost always laugh as if it is the funniest thing they ever heard.

I do not think rape of any man or woman is funny, and anyone who thinks so, male or female, is as sick as that man you mentioned. There have been several major criminal cases involving men who were raped in prison, and turned really angry and murderous. One of the guys who tied a black man to a pickup a few years ago, and dragged him to death had allegedly been raped in prison by black men. And, the serial murderer Renendez, a Mexican who traveled around by trains murdering women also had allegedly been gang raped in prison.

I think j@ck@*** is much too kind. This guy is warped.

OK, either this guy was just being an ignorant jerk or he really does have some issues he needs to deal with. Usually this is why if someone says "hey" to me at the store I don't even attempt to look. I act like I didn't even hear them. That is what I suggest you do next time and I am sorry you had to hear something so awful!

I'm guessing this guy was asking if you were into S&M. The only people I have met who think rape is okay are usually anti-social in that they only care about their own pleasure and power over others helps them recieve that pleasure. Sometimes that power includes inflicting suffering. The guy who said this to your boyfriend is obviously very sick and I'm glad you are with a man who realized that right away.

he is a sick man 98 % of the population would agree that rape is wrong and does not belong in society... Rape in my eyes is worse than murder as the victim has to deal with every hopur evryday for the rest of there life.... judges and or the legal system should start coming down harder on these criminals and give them a fair and just sentence ( like a tatoo on the forhead stating RAPIST) well thats my veiw and i am sure most people would agree... so RAPE is not accepted NOR tollerated in most cases just the few sickos who deserve a firey death!!!!!!!!

He knows nothing about human relations, let alone women. Who could think that forcing someone into doing something as intimate as sex when that person does not want to will make him or her a better performer?

Violence serves only one thing, to create more violence, to provoke anger and to hurt people even more. Pay no attention to that, that man deserves no recognition and not a single second of your time

Have you seen this person before? or is this the first time?
My advice is to go to the police department and report the incident. By the sounds of it he is a rapist and he is just looking for that right person. He may have just raped someone before talking to you so he would have an alibi.

I don't know why some guys are like that- I think they just don't think about or don't care about the consequences.....I was raped when I was younger & now my hubby is disgusted by the thought because I have horrible nightmares & hate overbearing men
