I enjoy working in the yard but it seems hard to believe that I am gardening at night. You think the neighbors would have said something.

Yet I often wake up with dirt and red/purple stuff under my nails and my hands look fairly dirty as if they had been REALLY dirty but I washed them in a daze. Also I usually wake up in different clothes than what I went to bed in.

I guess I have OCD or something????

you better call the police and have them check your yard/flower beds and see how many bodies you buried there.

This is not OCD but it is a serious problem. (It is possibly a Sleep Disorder or perhaps a form of Dissociative Identity Disorder). You need to talk with your doctor ASAP and tell him or her what is happening. "Black outs" are not normal and there is a risk that you could "wake up" in another city; days or even months later.

Oh man that would freak me out dude!!!! Maybe you are sleepwalking at night and workin' in the garden gettin' your hands
dirty.....go see a sleep specialist!!! Hope nothin' weirder than this
happens....whow...maybe install a camera/cameras in your house and towards the garden then you can see for yourself
what the heck you do when you fall out man..tha'd be kinda cool
to actually catch it all on tape..maybe...or maybe it would just be
way too weird..but you would get anwers anyway and proof of
what the heck is going on!!!

Nothing to do with OCD, sounds like you sleep walk. But I have a hard time believing what you said. If you're serious you need medical help, maybe a sleep clinic visit.

it sounds like you need to see your doctor and check into possible sleeping disorders. they can film you at the sleep clinic. if your doctor prescribes ambien, be aware that it has caused amnesia in many patients...myself included. i read about a woman who bought a car when she was on ambien and was quite surprised when she awakened the next day.

you might also want to see a neurologist for the blacking out part. maybe some sort of seizures could be involved. good luck.

Maybe that foreign guy that mows your lawn is giving you roofies and railing you in the butt outside at night, and he likes to dress you up like a barbie doll....just my take. But ask your doctor for some drugs anyway, it's a win-win situation.

sounds like your blanking out on details during the nite...kind of like sleep walking and you just don't recall what you've been doing, given you don't recall the clothes you wake up in! talk to a dr see if they can do a sleep study on you...or you may be so exhausted that you are doing things that you don't realize you are doing! perhaps it is time to just relax and slow down...

call CSI , they need your DNA..
I have seen many like this in the movie, but yours might be one case.. if you plant something, I wonder how many plants are growing in the garden now. check it, there might be witnesses outside.
My clue is Richard Simmons took a video camera, and got his copy while you were gardening at night..
