Because ther is no Bin Laden, there never was, he was just a made up reason to get into the country.....Surely everyone knows that by now.
Did you also know that he was trained by the Americans....People are like sheep thet believe every thing the big heads tell them.....Open your eyes wide see for your self.

Because they wouldn't have any excuse for being in Iraq.

Are you talking about Tora Bora, when Osama was surrounded yet evaded capture?
The U.S contracted out the dirty duty of wiggling the bastard out of the mountains to the warlords they were employing. This kept U.S soldiers out of harms way.
Guess they never thought the loyalty of the warlords would swing back to Osama's side, just long enough to let him escape over the Pakistan border.
Doesn't look like such a good idea now though, does it?

This makes me so angry I can't see straight. The administration must have given up on the fable that invading Iraq had anything to do with 9/11.

I don't believe that they did. I am fairly sure that they just closed down a unit devoted solely to that search. That's not the same thing - I'm pretty sure that they're still actively searching for him.
