why do parents freak out when they see daughter lying in the bed with her boyfriend and she is only 16?

Okay. Sex is sex and it's always going to be wrong at 16. You aren't ready no matter how "out-dated" your parents are. If you were just lying there they should have at least given some kind of warning before freaking out, BUT it's probably already a given. It's just something you don't do whether you are having sex or not, clothed or naked. Your parents have every right to be upset, you should respect their rules. It's is their house, they pay the bills and not you. If you wanna be a big girl, get a job and a place like a big girl should. BTW you think 16 is not old enough to get pregnant?? You should do some research, an 8 year old child has had a baby... it's not impossible and don't be dumb!

Well...first Have you read some of the posts on here from young teens asking questions about getting pregnant?...I cant lecture because then Id be a hypocrit b/c I lost my virginity young..BUT if I had to do it all over again I would of waited..not for marriage but until I was older...Parents see a girl and her boyfriend lying in bed they think..."Oh my GOD they are having sex"..go easy on us...some day you will know what the big deal was...when you see your daughter lying in bed with her boyfriend.

When you have a 16 year old daughter you will be able to answer that question. If you have to ask that question Chances are you aren't mature enough to be lying in bed with your boyfriend. Out of respect for your paren't you should not be doing that anyway.

Put yourself in the shoes of loving parents who have a daughter with a future. Now ask yourself that very same question.

It's principle and possibility.

It's not that they don't trust you or anything, it's just that women have more to lose than men do. Men don't bear children, girls do. So you can imagine how startling that would be, to see your baby girl lying in bed with her boyfriend.

You'd only be concerned for her safety and her future if you were a good parent.

Are you clothed or unclothed? They have every right to freak out because even if you're not having sex when they see you in bed, it means that you are leading up to it. STOP LYING ON THE BED WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND!!!! Your parents have enough to worry about without adding an unplanned pregnancy to the list!!

I was a teenage gals once, and I suppose I was muture enough. Now that I have pre-teen daughters myself, I feel that it is stupid of me to believe and place my trust in friends.

Afterall, parent know best.

But afterall, teens will be teens, doing all the rebelous things.
