As a resident of the Seattle area, I was doing some research into this on my own. What I discovered is this;
The Federal Government has in legislation, the means to pay the Southern states for the apprehension, detention & prosecution of illegal immigrants. I read the law, and it is exclusive to the Southern states. If the feds aren't paying their bill to Arizona, then they are in violation of their own laws.
So, why shouldn't the Northern states be compensated? Why were the Northern states left out of that legislation?

No. The feds already pay enough money to millions of legal deadbeats who sit around and watch Oprah all day.
Any cost for a bunch a illegals who, for the most part, are productive and pay their own way, is insignificant when compared to the overhead of maintaining our indigenous welfare crowd.
We'd be better off teaching the loafers Spanish so they would get off the sofa and go do something to contribute to society...like the illegals do.

Yes, immigration is a federal responsibility but the Fed requires the states to provide services to the immigrants.

One way or the other we the working citizens are paying for this illegal activity. Too many of our own people are lacking in services due to the cost of illegals. The only way to stop this practice is to heavily fine employers hiring them.

the first action that should be made is to ask for dismissal of the entire case because the plaintiff does no longer have the criminal status to record the case (because of plaintiff's lack of criminal status contained in the USA of a). Now, if someone became arrested and it grew to change into out that the fellow became in status or actual a citizen (which has occurred), yet became arrested because the fellow became believed to be an unlawful alien, it truly is distinct.

YES. Here in the Los Angeles area, we have bared the brunt of the illegals. The Feds should compensate us for the cost it has been dealt to us.

states should bill the home countries of the illegals. rather than paying for the care and housing, however, how 'bout we just bill them for the price of a plane ticket?
