The problem is, I have the cutest new outfit to wear when me, him, and both sets of parents go out to eat. He ususlly doesnt notice when I do things like buy a something new to wear on a special occassion, or anything I do for that matter! How do I get him to start noticing things like that, or do I just need to accept the fact that he might never?

Alot depends on how long you have been dating, how serious the two of you are, and how old you are. I don't guess it really matters how old you are.
You may try just plain old telling him. Not in a smart way, but a matter of fact way like, "you know ______, it really bothers me that you don't notice when I try to do something special for us or you or whatever you want to put in there.
Okay, once you have talked to him, give him a chance to come around and then if he doesn't you have to accept the fact that he is not into you and the things that you do to make the relationship special. You then have choices to make. Good luck.

He will not change. Accept that or move on.

Don't set yourself up for disappointment. Not ever.
