I do. They protect all Civil Liberties, even if you don't agree with it. That's why they are needed.

I support them most of the time. Since when is defending Civil Liberties and the Bill of Rights Unamerican? They have supported the left and right. It is just a fact that the right does more to try to deprive people of civil liberties than the left...except in the cases of "political correctness" where you will find them defending the right. And FU I'm not a crazy lunatic!
Also that valedictorain wanted to read scriptuure and basically give a sermon -- not just thank "god" They would have done the same to a Moslem who wanted to thank Allah and read from the Koran.

Your level of ignorance is appalling. Prior to the advent of the ACLU the state and city governments could and did arrest people for espousing views which were unpopular to the power in office. So did the Federal Government. If anyone needs to get a clue, it is you and your ilk. I really wish people would get an education about issues which they know nothing about.

I don't agree with every one of their definitions of what are "civil liberties," but I do think that America needs the organization to do what it does. I wish they would stick to "enumerated" rights in the Bill of Rights and I believe that they are even-handed about that, not trying to protect only liberals, but everyone. I don't like their support for the slice of swiss cheese separating church and state and I'm even more sternly against "unenumerated" rights. It is on those topics that they seem to be exclusively left-leaning.

In the holy trinity of liberalism, the UCLA would be the holiest of holies. Without the the UCLA's constant degrading miss use of the American legal system liberals would have no immoral compass to follow, or unholy grail to strive for.

I thought this stood for Anti-Christian Liberals Union... they are supported by liberals who wish to keep lawyers in business with lawsuits and of course, by organizations that... you know what, who does support these nuts!!!??? I can't find one good reason for them to even exist... all they do is protect terrorists and atheists, as if atheists are prejudiced against.

I DON'T. They are a bunch of wacko's who have spun our laws and twisted the truth in so many situations. They should be ashamed of themselves. Wish they would take a step back and look at what they have done to the morality of our country. They are always trying to make mountains out of molehills. Poor ignorant souls.
