How do you know its ear mites? You need a Microscope to be 100% sure..You can buy all sorts of products but you are really ging to come out cheaper by taking your catto the Vet and getting a correct diagnosis to start with,She will see you something that works quicker and better than anything OTC..You will honestly save in the long run!

Most vets will let you buy Revolution without an office call . . . call around and see if there is one near you. It works better than anything that's been suggested so far. The medicine is applied to the back of the neck (not in the ears) once and then repeated in 2 weeks . . . sometimes a 3rd treatment is necessary in really bad cases.

Most cats get wise to daily treatments that must be done for 2 weeks to work . . . they hate it and will usually make themselves scarce . . . kinda makes getting the ears cleared up impossible. Call around and see if you can get some Revolution . . . it really works and is very simple to do . . . it's not that expensive and most vets will sell it in individual doses . . . that way you wouldn't have to buy both doses at once and would have 2 weeks to budget for the 2nd treatment. It usually runs around $14 - $18 per dose.

You could try something that you buy at the petstore...but honestly, it would be better if you take kitty to the vet to make sure it's earmites...and their medicine usually works great.

I got a kitten from the humane society that had earmites and the vet there put some drops in it before we took her home and that was the end of it!

I use mineral or baby oil, on a Q-tip, after washing the cat's ear out with a soapy washcloth. The oil is supposed to drown the mites.

You need to take them to the vet and they will give you some medication to treat them with. I wouldn't trust anything over the counter. Sometimes they don't work and the money you spend on them could be used for the good stuff.

put a little baby oil on a Q-tip and clean the ears, this will get rid of some...but if it has spread into the ear canal you have to go see a vet! this is very uncomfortable for your cat and is very unhealthy.
