No, it doesn't. You want to use an insecticide shampoo to take care of the problem. Use the shampoo and then comb out all the eggs and adults. Wash your clothes and bedding and then repeat the shampoo in 10 days -sooner if more lice are found.

I suspect that dying your hair also dyes the hair of the lice, hence you now have very hard to find brunette or blonde lice. That's my scientific opinion anyway.

Bleaching your hair would probably do the trick. Bleach it, comb it out with that lice comb, and then dye it whatever color you want.

No, you need to buy some of that KILLZ shampoo at the drug store. My sister's girl caught that at school when she was little and it worked well from what she said.
Hair color will just color your hair and nothing more.
