It seems that everywhere on this site there is a Christian bashing evolution or atheism or Islam. Why? I find it very rude to do this, yet when we call you on it you say that you are peopel too, just that your actions are somehow better than ours because you are forgiven.

What a load of BS

Exactly. As Gandhi said: "I would have been a Christian if it weren't for Christians."

I am sorry if any of my answers have offended you in any way. Though, I will not stoop to the level of not bashing evolution. Atheism and Islam, I do not bash, and will not bash. Jesus loves them too. It is called blasphemy, and I try my best not to do it. But, as a Christian, I have no right to go around and judge other people because "only God knows the hearts of every man."

Yea, okay, cause Christians corner the market on religion bashing. Sure, whatever. Pigs can fly too.

So, its okay for you to bash and make rude remarks, cause your not a Christians, but us Christians ar just supposed to be bashed and ran into the ground cause you dont like it if we stand up for ourslelves? Thats back wards thinking, and in humane, and rude, and predjudicial, and intolerant....the list goes on.

Get over yourself.

Any REAL Christian will tell you Gay bashing is wrong. Sounds like you dont know much about the religion.

there are an awful lot of christians that are very radical in their beliefs. that can be very hard on our faith, but why is it that when a christian gets upset over a comment or slur of their faith, people get so upset? if a a person does not believe in our god, why hold us to a certain standard that is higher than their own? christians should not be hatemongers or disrespect others or their beliefs. on the other hand, they do not have to put up with being treated the same way. for some strange reason, the society we live in seems to think that a christian is a coward. well i am proof that we are not. i love god, i love his son jesus and i love you. i will not apoligize for that. i believe that only through christ can anyone go to heaven and i believe that those that do not believe will not. i am totally unapologetic in my beliefs and nothing anyone can say will change my mind. god has been a lot better to me than any non-believer out there.

Yes, and there are alot of Atheist bashing on christians and evolution and Islam. and also there are alot of Islam bashing on evolution, christians, and atheists. People are just trying to get their believes out, and in attempt to prove to anyone who reads them that they're right, they end up bashing everyone else. These Christians that are appearing unChristian might just be feeling insecure about their religion.

WE ARE FORGIVEN. Thats why when we do make mistakes we know we can ask God for that forgiveness. What gives you the right to bash Christians anyway? Aren't you doing the same thing they are? Christianity is NOT for perfect people. It was made for sinners! So don't point fingers and don't assume you know what Christians are thinking, you know what happens when you assume.

What I find even more RUDE...is that you PROVOKE
"Christians" here expecting to exploit and take advantage of the "turn our cheek" and just take it...see while you don't believe in Christ or in any particular supreme being...it WOULD make sense that you would STILL want to treat others as you'd like to be treated...see while that may be the "golden rule" it is also a common sense rule...you know..one of those rules that apply to society as a whole..not just Christians or Athiests, or Muslims or Darwinians....so we expect YOU to treat us as YOU'D like to be treated..NOT as you ARE treated or HAVE BEEN treated...

Besides, remember, we KNOW just as well as you do that we both live our lives based upon one theory or another,,so when we bash that THEORY...it isn't any more personal than you bashing the THEORY that we live by...it isn't nice..but we're criticizing a belief system not individual people...and while we DON'T have to understand the theory by which you live nor do you have to agree or understand that by which we live...we should be able to respect one another well enough to leave well enough alone...

Nobody is forgiven or saved if they treat people like crap just for the fun of it...in fact...if we were JUST saved by grace errrr being saved by just believing...

then James the APOSTLE..should have STOPPED before writing James 2 where it says FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD!

that said...let's agree to disagree and you worry about YOU and we'll worry about us...and if we ever knock on your door...just say..thanks but no thanks..and we'll go away...

On behalf of myself, I apologize if I have made any hasty statements anywhere at any time that were offensive or rude and caused anyone discomfort leading to distress.

I do not apolgize, however, if I merely made a statement of fact and someone was offended because they are unable to properly assimilate the truth of the matter.

I try to remember these verses in such times:

Rom 12:17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Try to do what is honorable in everyone's eyes.
Rom 12:18 If possible, on your part, live at peace with everyone.

#1) Obviously, you haven't been around this site enough to get a complete picture. And even if you read every question (I seriously doubt you did that), new "questions" are coming in all the time.

#2) Your standards of what is Christian and what isn't are different from other Christians.

Try to respect other Christians, so you don't come out being the type of person you are complaining about.

2Ti 4:2 preach the Word, be urgent in season, out of season, convict, warn, encourage with all long-suffering and teaching.
2Ti 4:3 For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, they will heap up to themselves teachers tickling the ear;
2Ti 4:4 and they will turn away the ear from the truth and will be turned aside to myths.
2Ti 4:5 But you be clear-minded in all, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully carry out your ministry.

We are commanded by Scripture to defend the faith, and that is what we do. We will refute those philosophies and beliefs that oppose the word of God. It is interesting that atheists can come on here and ridicule, attack and make fun of our faith and our Lord. Yet, we are expected to just sit and smile, let it happen, then say "Thank you, may I have another?" Sorry, ain't happening. Think we don't play "nice"? Check out the words of Christ to those who opposed Him. Read Paul in Galatians, he wasn't real pleasant either. The image you have of Christians as soft, weak, and spineless is in your mind, we will contend earnestly for the faith. So put on your big boy pants and stop whining.
