Or they email you and you can't respond to them because it comes back that they haven't 'verified' their email. I guess what I want to know is how can they send the email if their account hasn't been verified?

It is annoying, I agree.

PS: to others, I set-up my id & email separately with Yahoo! Answers, makes things easier and no one can 'stalk' me. My other email addresses are out of reach that way. Safety First after all!

Who really wants to argue with a complete stranger about personal religious faith? It is supposed to be something that brings peace not negative argumentation. It really only matters what you believe for yourself. We do not need to shove our beliefs down other people's throats.

This is also not supposed to be a forum wheee people argue but rather share information. Sadly it has turned into a petty and childish place wher know it alls and immature people like to argue and insult and say racist and sexist things.

Try positive energy. Try answering questions you like and asking questions that don't offend others. It can be a different experience.

Because this site is about giving answers to questions, not ongoing debates between participants. It's not as if there aren't gazillions of sites like that out on the web!

In my experience these kind of debates generate far more heat than light with neither person either learning much or changing their opinion, (and often descending into mindless abuse!)so I quite like this format where you simply state your opinion and that's that. it makes it easier and quicker to see what people actually think.

This site attracts some pretty weird people. It's just safe to not accept them. Most of the time, these challenges become ugly and are just a way to start trouble.

I think the important question for you is,

Why do you think you need to challenge the beliefs of these people?

What are you so afraid of, that makes you think you need to prove something about them.

You obviously have some idea about their belief system that frightens you or you would see them as just being silly.

Of course you won't, or can't admit this because frightened people always pretend to themselves that they are just right about, not afraid of what they feel the need to challenge.

Think about this, ignore them and see to your own life. Your own actions are what you have some possibility of affecting

I guess some people would rather state their business and be done with it, whether it is right or wrong. Some of us do accept emails because we are willing to talk and try to understand anothers point of view.

It's quite obvious Mr Thinker. One simply does not want to correspond with the hoi polloi. Getting Spam is bad enough.

I know!! And it seems sometimes the best answers are the ones where you can't communicate. Or the ones that are downright offensive. I guess they are hiding!!!
