Has anyone recently applied for a change of status in Texas? I applied 4 months ago and have heard nothing.?

I am originally from the UK and married an American in February. We sent in the necessary documents in March and have had no responce to even say they have received it. Is anyone else going through this and how long should it be taking.

Immigration is a Real Problem in america, right now, and resolving it could take years.

It seems INS is slow at everything in Texas,I've only been waiting to hear about a legal problem with them for 3 weeks no contact yet.
