No they don't exist in reality, at least not outside of the mind that believes in them. They are only judgments passed by the individual from their own unique perspective. What one person sees as bad or evil may seem to be the only logical thing to do from some other perspective. The ideas of both good and evil are point of view specific. This is why people like bush and bin laden are either loved or hated. Bush is seen as good by people who share his fear based thought system. Those who have a compassionate concern for all of mankind often see him as evil.
Bin laden is much the same. He is a villain in much of the western world, but he is somewhat of a celebrated pop star on the Middle East. There are T-shirt shops that sell items with his picture as though he was Jesus. It all depends on your point of view or perspective.
To sum it all up good is the name we give to people who do things that we think we like.
Evil is the name we give to people who do the things that we don’t like.
This is of course based solely on our particular point of view.

Do good and evil exist...
Is it evil if a person rapes a women, is it good when you give money to the poor.
These are simple questions that are simple to answer.
Its only good if you think that it is good.
Its only bad if you think that it is bad.
If god knows everything including the future he knows you will do good and evil. Therefore there is no sin.
Only your own free will with out god to make the choice between right and wrong and good an evil.
Just one persons oppion can make something turn evil, even what i write in this answer. Good luck in life or should i say evil luck? Its all how you look at it.

I gave the following answer for another question about "evil" in a dream.
...
"I don't believe our universe actually allows true evil to exist. What we call evil is a force or entity that has intentions that lead to someplace other than the where the intentions of it's victims would lead. For instance, I want to take a walk to the store to get some food, but a grizzly bear who is reallllly hungry would like to eat me instead. When he does indeed eat me, onlookers might say, "look at that evil, the poor boy was never able to make it to the store". However, Mrs. Grizzly Bear is happy to have a meal.
That being said, all kinds of forces in our lives have intentions that lead to places other than where we want to go. Sometimes it's a boss, sometimes a utility company. Regardless, we must defend our course many times on every day. This builds up sub-conscious anxiety about "Evil" preventing us from leading a happy and productive existence. I have had this anxiety relieve itself within my dreams by creating an opportunity for me to face all the nebulous evils encountered in daily life as one entity, or at least, that's how I interpreted it."

There is only 1 God, the Lord, God The Father. Of course there is good and evil. Haven't you ever had to make a choice between doing what is good or what you know to be wrong??? Therefore there is Heaven and Hell. You better start praying soon eternity is a long time!

If God is allpowerful and all-knowing, then he knows what color underwear you have on. He knew a million years ago what color underwear you would have on today. He knows everything and can do everything, according to Judeo-Christian dogma. That being the case, before Satan despolied the Garden of Eden, he knew it was coming, and he was powerful enough to prevent it. The fact that he didn't suggests that it was his will, ergo, God, who is the source of all good, is also the source of all evil. I am convinced that they are one thing, derived from once source. The only thing that makes a thing good or evil is our limited, polar human perception.

To me, 'evil' is simply anything that goes against human growth and development. If it is pro-growth and pushes us to become better human beings, it is 'good'. If it's anti-growth and takes away from our own (or someone else's)development or capacity thereof, then that is 'evil'. It's when we start attaching a red devil to the word that it becomes ridiculous. The red devil is a metaphor for our own self-serving ego. When we follow the desires of the ego at the expense of our conscience, THAT is evil. We don't need a book to tell us this. We only need to learn to listen to Goodness within our own hearts. (Divine by any name you choose). We all know what is good and what is against good. There is no need for someone outside of ourselves to tell us this -- or lay down rules.

Just look around & pay attention to the news. There's people trying to save mankind & others who want to destroy it. Good people & evil ones.
Unfortunately, good & evil exists.

Well think to yourself. If you do something sinful, like watch a bad tv show, etc, is that evil? Yes, God thinks it is. So the answer is yes.
