Actually Cain left and went to the land of Nod, where he met his wife.

Now, if you believe that Adam and Eve and Cain and Abel were the first people, where did Cain's wife come from? That enough should make the literalists squirm.

But, back to your question, who you may be thinking of is Lilith, who in non-canonical texts was Adam's first wife. She left Adam and settled by the Red Sea where she began mating with demons and beasts.

Sadly it is likely that the person who told you this thinks it's true. So many people think the bible says this or the bible says that. Having ZERO knowledge of the bible does not keep people from telling everyone "what it says". Read the story of Cain and Abel. It's not very long. Then you''ll know for yourself.

Just kidding.

No, actually he mated with his sister. I know that that sounds gross, but remember, there was no human diseases back then, so if Cain wanted to mate with his sister, he could. Also there was nothing about family ties and kin back then, so if Cain and his sister mated and had children, they would have been healthy.

No, some people say a lot of things are in the Bible. But they can never tell you where it is. Funny isn't it? I always make sure if I say it is in there a can back it up, makes you wonder about some people, huh.

Ah, I'd asked that "someone" to give me chapter and verse...and in which version...he/she was reading this in. I have never heard of this and I seriously doubt that is in the Bible.
